I was on leave from ministry when I heard a Catholic Church sing this. I heard God telling me that God was not done with me. I am back in ministry. Loretta and I married. Nine years later she passed from cancer. This hymn gives me strength to go on without her. I know my redeemer lives!

Please pray for healing of my relationship with a Loved one.

I came into my Catholic faith through my now wife. Converted after we were engaged so we could celebrate Mass at our wedding, and I could partake in the sacraments alongside her. This was the song we selected to be sung during Communion, over 5 years later and it still uplifts me in a way that is hard to explain.

In November 2021 I was with my brother as he struggled to breathe all day, due to the COVID-19 virus. In the early evening he took his last breaths as I played this song for him. "Do not be afraid I am with you. I have called you each by name. Come and follow me, I will bring you home. I love you and you are mine." Rest peacefully, Thomas.
